How to use the site
movies1 is a bit different to most other websites you may have seen ̶ we’ve tried to make it as much like a print magazine as we could, but with hosts of interactive things to make life easier. So we thought we’d give you a brief guide about how to use it.
Like other websites, you navigate using the menu bar above, which also has sub-menus to take you directly to an article or feature. What’s inside always brings you back here. It has a drop-down menu of all the features on the site and a sub-menu of the regular features. Alternatively you can click on an item on this page and it will take you straight to that feature.
Cover always takes you back to the cover page.
News takes you to the Latest News page, which we hope to update regularly, with your help ̶ let us know if you’ve got an item that may be of interest to other film fans.
Coming soon has features about the people behind the new films and a dropdown menu giving you the listings for all the new film releases in the next three months. Links brings up clickable links to sites around the world relating to films, and RSS Film News on the sub-menu.
And last but not least Blog takes you to the movies1 blog,which is the place where you can make your views known, vent your spleen and ask for help and information (but please respect the boundaries of good taste and please remember the libel laws – we don’t have any money to pay for lawyers!)
